The essence of meditation? What does it mean? The answer is simple, Vipassana meditation can not be improved by adding or deleting any part of it. It is the essence, the meditation that enlightened more people than any other meditation. There are 3 ways to do this meditation. choose the way that best fits you.

 

First there is being aware of every move you make. Walk contiously, move contiously, do everything contiously. When you walk, walk contiously, when you move your hand, move your hand contiously, be aware of every movement you make.

 

Second there is breathing. Breath with awareness, breath contiously. When you breath in, your belly will rise. Behind the navel lays the well of life. When the belly rises your life-energy also rises.

 

Third there is being contious of the air entering your nose while breathing, and exiting your nose when breathing out.

 

None of these techniques is beter than the other, all are right, all are good.
